| Notes for Israel Seacord: There appears to be 3 more Seacord children b: abt 1795,97,99. 1790 census of New Rochelle lists Israel, 3 Females and 7 males. He was a Tory. He entertained Lord Howe's army when it was camped at New Rochelle.He also built a fine mansion on his father's property. In abt 1820, this was bought by Richard Secord. His name appears in Court Records for North Salem - Judgement 1784; a Judgement 1809 in Bedford; and a Capias (Warrant) 1814 in Bedford.1 |
